Ladi Franklin

Ladi Franklin holds a B.Sc degree in International Studies, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a Certified Value Builder Advisor
designation. She has also received training certification in Entrepreneurial Thought and Action (ETA) from Babson College, Massachusetts. Ladi has approximately two decades of experience providing business strategy guidance to entrepreneurs and small-business owners to help them start and grow sustainable businesses. In the course of her work, she has supported numerous Small and Medium Enterprise founders with methods and tools to help them navigate challenges that hinder their profitability, growth and competitiveness. She has worked with SMEs in diverse industry sectors including manufacturing, tourism, agro-processing, creativity, retail, healthcare and personal services sectors. She has also successfully facilitated technical assistance for her clients in the areas of business planning, market research, employee recruitment, systems and processes access to capital, and access to domestic and access to export markets and entrepreneurial networks.

Organisations she has worked with include General Manager Caribbean Leasing Company Ltd, providing financial leases to small and medium-sized companies, and Education Specialist at Central Bank of Trinidad, designing strategies and programmes to improve the financial literacy of MSEs and citizens/citizen groups. She has also provided business coaching services to organisations supporting SME development Including the Caribbean Export Development Agency, OECS, and the University of Trinidad & Tobago’s U-START Entrepreneurship Incubator.
